Shipping Instructions

Follow These Steps for Sending Your Cases to Olivia Dental Lab for Safe Delivery

  1. Remove Previous Markings and Stickers: Before shipping your cases in recycled or reused boxes, ensure all previous markings and stickers are removed. This helps guarantee that your cases arrive at the lab in a timely manner without any issues.

  2. Disinfect and Protect Case Materials: Disinfect all case materials, place them in a sealed bag, and wrap each model individually with bubble wrap or foam padding. This protection is crucial to prevent damage during shipment, especially for any wax-ups.

  3. Fill Empty Space: Add extra bubble wrap to fill any empty space in the box. This helps avoid movement and potential breakage during shipping.

  4. Shipping Articulators and Face-Bows:

    • (a) Remove the models from the articulator and wrap each piece individually.
    • (b) If models remain on the articulator, please separate the articulator. Wrap each piece individually and securely anchor them in the box. Wrap the face-bow and other enclosures separately.
  5. Handling Alginate Impressions: Place the Rx in a separate sealed plastic bag to prevent it from getting wet and destroyed. Staple the Rx bag to the appropriate case bag.

  6. Shipping Loose Items: For loose crowns, bridges, implant parts, and shade tabs, place them in a separate small container or sealed plastic bag to avoid loss or breakage. Staple these to the Rx, ensuring to include the patient’s name.

  7. Protect Photos and Slides: Any photos or slides that accompany the case should be placed in a plastic bag for protection.

  8. Multiple Cases in One Box: To ensure cases are not mixed up when shipping multiple cases in one box, bag each case separately.

Note: Following these steps helps ensure the safe and efficient delivery of your dental cases to Olivia Dental Lab, maintaining the integrity and quality of your submissions.
